Youth Club Coordinator (Greenway 616)
Location:Greenway Community Centre, Trent Lane, Sneinton, Nottingham. NG2 4DF (main base).
Wage: £12 per hour
Hours: Eight hours per week (flexible)

Greenway 616 Youth Club encourages children and young people to develop and grow through participation in a wide range of exciting creative, physical and social activities.
“Enabling self-realisation through self-expression” is central to the club ethos.
The successful candidate will have experience of working with, and delivering projects for school age children (6-16 years). The Youth Club Coordinator works as part of the Greenway youth project team and will build on established relationships with resident and sessional providers (organisations and independent workshop leaders).
The youth Club has an established record of delivering an exciting and engaging programme of high quality activities for all members including arts, crafts, cooking, drama, games and sports. The successful candidate will build on these achievements helping to create a warm and friendly environment for youth club members, many of whom experience challenging home lives. In addition the Youth Club Coordinator will help forge stronger links with the wider community through showcase events and activities.
The Greenway 616 Youth Club is funded over the next three years through Children in Need. The successful candidate will therefore have previous experience of managing publicly funded projects including team coordination, financial management, as well as undertaking regular evaluation and monitoring activities.
The post is for eight hours per week covering forty weeks per year throughout the duration of funding. The hours are flexible although it is anticipated the successful candidate will want to attend some youth club sessions to ensure smooth running and quality of provision. The 616 Youth Club sessions are Wednesday 5-8pm & Saturday 1-3pm.
This post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check (which we will pay for) and registration with the DBS Update Service.
